Edward Weston

I'd like to use this weeks blog to talk about one of my absolute favorite photographers Edward Weston. The first work I ever saw of his was is natural studies. It features shells, peppers, toadstools, and other natural objects. They are beautiful images in black and white that are sticking in their form and their glow. I went to his website this weekend to look at more of his stuff and find I like all his other pictures too. I especially like his clouds, trees and water because they express the same style that the natural studies do. However, I did not like his portraits because they seemed uninspired and cold.
